Photographs may be outdated, descriptions may omit important details, and dealing with an unknown seller from another country can expose the buyer to unnecessary risk. Our role is to be your eyes on the ground. We independently verify the vehicle you have selected, document its current condition and give you an honest recommendation. When you decide to proceed, we help coordinate the purchase, VAT-saving process, export documentation and transportation. We do not stock vehicles. This allows customers to search freely across South Africa's vehicle market while relying on Cape2Coast Auto for independent verification and cross-border support

Do you sell or stock vehicles?
No. Cape2Coast Auto does not carry vehicle stock. Customers find vehicles through South African listing platforms, dealerships or private sellers and send the details to us for verification.

Can you find a vehicle for me?
We can advise you on suitable listing platforms and review vehicles you identify. Our core service is independently verifying the selected vehicle and supporting its purchase and export.

How do you check whether a vehicle is stolen?
We verify the vehicle's identifying information and conduct the relevant available theft-status and legitimacy checks. The precise checks depend on the vehicle, seller and available records.

How does the VAT saving work?
Only the exporter is eligible to claim the VAT refund. Cape2Coast Auto gives you an agreed portion of the VAT benefit upfront as a reduction in your quotation and retains a percentage for our export service and administration.

Do you guarantee the vehicle's mechanical condition?
A visual condition assessment is not the same as a comprehensive mechanical inspection. Where mechanical certainty is important, we recommend and can arrange an independent inspection by a qualified provider.

Will you inspect the vehicle personally?
Depending on the vehicle's location and selected service, we arrange an on-site assessment and provide current photographs, videos and condition findings. Independent mechanical inspections can be arranged where necessary.

Can you transport the vehicle after purchase?
Yes. Once the vehicle has been approved and purchased, we can coordinate export documentation and transport to the agreed border, port or destination.
